12:04am Property Damage Crash

Deputies responded to US Route 33 west of State Route 161 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2019 Honda Civic that struck a deer. A crash report was taken, #80-23-226.

12:53am Injury Crash

Deputies and units from the Plain City Police Department as well as the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to the 8200 block of State Route 736 to investigate an injury crash. The crash involved a 2011 Honda Pilot that lost control. One person was transported to Riverside Methodist Hospital. The driver, Audra J. Pickett, age 38 of Plain City was issued a traffic citation for failure to control, and a crash report was taken, #80-23-227.

1:46am Drug Paraphernalia

Deputies were dispatched to the area of US Route 42 at Jerome Road to investigate a person standing in the roadway and attempting to flag down passing motorists. Deputies located a male and a disabled vehicle on Jerome Road. As a result of the investigation, deputies confiscated drug paraphernalia from the vehicle, and arrested Johnny R. Gill, age 47 of Canal Winchester, for possession of drug paraphernalia. Gill was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail, and a report was taken. #23-0465.

7:33am Fire

A deputy and units from the Allen Township Fire Department responded to the 25000 block of North Lewisburg Road for a report of a fire next to the covered bridge. The fire caused some charring to the bridge. The Union County Engineers Office was called to the scene, and a report was taken. #23- 0466.

9:31am Fraud

A deputy investigated a possible scam attempt that occurred at a residence in the 17000 block of Paver Barnes Road. No report was taken.

11:21am Stolen Trailer

A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 25000 block of State Route 4 to investigate a theft of a 1993 utility trailer. A report was taken, #23-0467.

11:31am Bond Violation

Deputies went to the Adult Probation Office on State Route 4 to take custody of Susan L. Bradford, age 42 of Upper Sandusky, for a bond violation. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.

12:18pm Property Damage Crash

A deputy responded to a business in the 7300 block of State Route 161 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2016 Jeep Cherokee and a 2022 Honda Civic. No report was taken.

12:38pm Property Damage Crash

A deputy responded to a business in the 10000 block of US Route 42 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2014 Ford F-150 and a 2022 Honda Civic. No report was taken.

5:43pm Dispute

A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 10000 block of Hyland Run to investigate a dispute over advertisement signs. No report was taken.

11:03pm Suicide Threat

Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 10000 block of Watkins Road for a person threatening self-harm. The person was transported to the Memorial Hospital, and no report was taken.
